Today’s sharing from the Blue House of Via-HYGEIA-following our publication of ‘The Initiations & Principles Of The School of Ephesus’-is an excerpt from Eugène Dupré’s archive, here his first Speech (out of Six) given in January 1940, related to ‘How To Recognize An Initiation’s Genuineness?’ From the archives of the Brethren of the East in its Via-HYGEIA dedicated repository.

‘…To the risk of not being genuine, an initiation imperatively must admit a state of deterioration in the Creation leading Man to error and the tendency to evil. Man’s deeds are getting more and more centered on crude matter, this feature blending with selfishness makes him hoard externally and internally. However, the creative law placed the goods for the common use. This caused the fall.

An initiation, to be real, must admit the necessity of the perfection of the human being, its liberation of the alienating circumstances that prevent its emancipation through means that give him the power to free himself of his shackles; this freedom only can allow him to find his way towards evolution. Alas! How many hearing these principles during their initiation were disappointed later. For them this could not be initiation!

Finally, Initiation has an aim: To give means to those who put their hope in the future to work towards a reformation, a regeneration of society, consequently bringing happiness to all members of Humanity. Always, these 3 points have been summarized by 3 keys:

The First Key: Fall is a spiritual death and the incarnation of being into the physical plane. It is called the Key of Genesis or Birth. It gives to Man the possibility to acknowledge his state and it has always been summarized by the simple formula: ‘KNOW YOURSELF.’

The Second Key is for those who managed to know themselves- in the measure of their possibilities, of course. They are able to act because they do everything that is necessary to know the principles of the unique and multiple Truth. It is the Key of LIFE, the Key of permanent changes, the Key of the mastery of the binary. This famous science of Good and Evil that make the one who knows it like a god.

Finally, the Third Key, the Key of Terrestrial Death: The birth to spiritual life is dual and encompasses death that closes a fruitful life and allows to the pioneer of reintegration to taste a bit of rest in the after-world. The great Key of Death will be at the end of Time REINTEGRATION.

‘…Une Initiation, obligatoirement, sous peine de ne pas en être une, doit admettre un état de déchéance dans la Création ayant amené chez l’homme l’égarement et la tendance au mal, à la matérialisation de ses actes et à cette constriction qui le fait, par l’égoïsme, accumuler pour lui et en lui les biens qui ont été mis par la loi créatrice à la disposition de tous. Cette cause, c’est la chute.

Une Initiation réelle doit admettre la nécessité de la perfection de l’être humain, de sa libération des contingences infériorisantes qui lui donne les moyens de se libérer des entraves qui empêchent son émancipation, sa liberté – laquelle seule peut lui permettre de se diriger volontairement dans la voie de l’évolution. Ceci vous est clairement exposé dans votre livret d’initiation. Hélas ! combien en entendant ces principes lors de leur initiation ont été déçus. Ce n’est pas cela pour eux que pouvait être l’Initiation !

Enfin, l’Initiation a un but : donner des possibilités à ceux qui espèrent en l’avenir pour travailler à une réformation, une régénération des sociétés, amenant par conséquence l’état de félicité pour tous les membres de l’humanité. De tout temps, ces 3 points ont été schématisés par 3 clés :

La première clé : la Chute est la mort spirituelle et l’incarnation de l’être dans le plan physique – On l’appelle la Clé de la Genèse ou de la Naissance. Elle donne à l’homme la possibilité de constater son état et elle a toujours été résumée par cette simple formule : “CONNAIS TOI”.

La Deuxième Clé est pour ceux qui sont arrivés à se connaître – dans la mesure de leurs possibilités, évidemment. Ils sont capables d’agir parce qu’ils font tout ce qui est nécessaire pour savoir les principes de la Vérité une et multiple. C’est la Clé de la VIE, la Clé des continuels changements, la Clé de la Maîtrise du Binaire. Cette fameuse science du Bien et du Mal qui rend celui qui la connaît comme un Dieu.

Enfin la Troisième Clé, la Clé de la Mort terrestre : la naissance à la vie spirituelle est double, elle comprend la mort qui termine une vie féconde et permet au pionnier de la réintégration d’aller goûter un peu de repos dans l’au-delà avec ses frères et soeurs. La Grande Clé de la MORT sera à la fin des temps la REINTEGRATION.

Toute l’Initiation est là, mes frères et mes soeurs.’
