The Strictly Normal Individual
These were only six types, but they gather around a seventh, corresponding to the person ideally balanced, the model person, adamic in its qualities, realizing the perfect association of the Spirit (Sun), the Soul (Moon) and Body (Saturn), or of the Sulfur, the Mercury and the Salt.
*
Human individual may get close to this type, generalization of which would be detrimental, because it is good that we are differentiated and specialized according to the task upon us all. We ought not to stray too far from the human norm, because an excess of differentiation would makes us in-human. To stay in the just balance, we should avoid any deforming exaggerations, we should correct our character in taking model in those of our kind, remarkable for their wisdom, that is their risk weighting.
*
We ought not to take an exaggerated importance in to the graphical determination we just sketched. They can be subject to other interpretations, as nothing ought to be absolute in such field. Constructions of such, still present the advantage of helping the mind to discover certain relationships and allow the doctor to go back to the root of the morbid unbalances. In the time of psychoanalysis, such suggestive diagrams are not to be rejected.
*
What can be logically deduced from a conventional diagram, would never in deed be comparable in importance with the planetary types. We will not here get in the study of this septenary that is more belonging to the astrological symbolism, of which we will devote a special volume that will be a follow-up to our ‘Hermetic Symbolism’.
