Virgin Greek Goddesses
In Greek Mythology Athena, Artemis and Hestia were known as the virgin goddesses because they remained unmarried and were not associated with romantic or sexual relationships. They were revered for their purity, independence, and devotion to their respective domains.
- Athena: Goddess of wisdom, courage and strategic warfare. Associated with intelligence, arts and crafts and justice. Often depicted wearing a helmet and carrying a shield, symbolizing her role as a protector.
- Artemis: Goddess of the hunt, wild animals, childbirth, and the moon. Known for her independence and fierce nature. Often depicted with a bow and arrow, accompanied by a pack of hunting dogs.
- Hestia: Goddess of the hearth, home and domesticity. Associated with warmth, hospitality and the sacred fire of the household. Depicted as a modest and serene goddess, often shown carrying a torch or tending to a hearth.
