Nicolas Lecerf
I was born in Canada, raised and educated in France. I started to work in all the life cycles of books, such as printing, editing, advertising & marketing and press relations.
I then studied Chinese in Taiwan and moved after to China-Beijing where I worked for Lafarge China in internal and external communications, first as a specialist, manager and finally vice president-government affairs. Additionally I was a Regional Communication Manager for Lafarge in Asia, in charge of capacity building by setting up communication departments, organizing employees’ development in the communication function and providing support training and coaching for Korea, Japan, Indonesia, India, Philippines and Malaysia.
I am a past member at the China Business Council for Sustainable Development (CBCSD), where Lafarge China is a founding member in 2004. I am also the founder and past chairman of the China Communication Managers Club (CCMC), founder and past chairman of the Sustainable Development Working Group at the French Chamber of Commerce in China, founder and past chairman of the CDM Dialogue at the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, founder and past coordinator of the NGO-Capacity Building Network, past member of the China Global Business Coalition against HIV-Aids Working Group, past member of the board of the Orchid Institute for Child Psychology (HIV-Aids orphans), past member of the board of Pact China, an NGO devoted to NGO capacity building, past member of the board of advisors of AIESEC. I also taught in collaboration with Dennis Driscoll for the Beida-EU-CEC training program on CSR in China.
I have been a student and practitioner for more than 40 years of alchemy and the sacred art of transformative archetypes, been trained by traditional masters belonging to ancient alchemical societies.
While I was living in China for 15 years, I practiced Daoist alchemical traditions and was introduced to Tibetan lineages of tantrism.
I also studied behavioural psychology with Dr. Michel de Salzmann and am a long time student and leader of the Gurdjieff Work, both in China and Turkey.
I speak French, English, Chinese (all fluent) and Turkish (beginner).
